Summary This collection consists of one copy of a booklet, "How to Know the Trees of the Intermountain Region" published by the U.S. Forest Service, Region 4, Department of Agriculture, Ogden, Utah. Notes of a trip taken by A.A. Hart to Deer Park Guard Station are handwritten on blank pages at the beginning and end of the booklet. Content Description This collection of 339 black and white photographs documents forestry activities in the Payette and Boise national forests ca. 1911-1914. Included are photos of planting, site studies, grazing, homesteads, ranger stations, lookouts and log buildings.
