From the Collection:

The Quigley collection spans the years from 1888 to 1938, but the bulk of the material dates from 1898 to 1920. It includes correspondence and other material relating to Quigley's two super­visory positions, his participation in the Boise Symphony Orchestra, his work from 1913 to 1915 for the Idaho Title and Trust Co., and his investments in the Idaho State Life Insurance Co. and the Twin Falls North Side Land and Water Co. Collection includes reports and photographs relating to the construction of the Idaho State Capitol Building and the U.S. Post Office in Boise (also known as the Federal Building and/or the W.E. Borah Buildng)and the construction of state capitols in Colorado, Minnesota, Kentucky, and Wisconsin. Of special interest are the photographs taken during the construction of the Idaho State Capitol and the news articles regarding the progress of the construction and the investigations into alleged mismanagement of the building funds.
