Summary
Papers of the Fenn family of Kooskia, Idaho, including Major Frank Alfred Fenn (1853-1929), his son Lloyd Alfred Fenn, and Lloyd's wife Shirley Shunk Fenn. Legal papers from the Kooskia practice of Fenn and Fenn, attorneys, and related correspondence which includes letters from Congressman Burton L. French, probate Judge Wilbur L. Campbell of Grangeville, the Ft. Lapwai Indian Agency, and numerous Idaho attorneys (1924-1952). Lloyd A. Fenn was also publisher of The Mountaineer (Kooskia, Idaho) and some correspondence deals with this newspaper.
Also includes correspondence (1932-1953) regarding Lloyd's efforts to obtain a physician for the Kooskia area; political material concerning his campaign for state representative; papers and records relating to the Kooskia Insurance Agency (1935-1964) and the Kooskia Red Cross (1918-1919); and memorabilia and family photos.
