Historical Note
Hansen, Idaho is a town located in the northeast part of Twin Falls County. The townsite was laid out in 1907 but maintained a post office since 1905.
Rock Creek, also in Twin Falls County, was founded near Herman Stricker's homesite and maintained a post office from 1871 to 1925.
Bear is a small community about 28 miles northwest of Council in Adams County. A gateway to the Seven Devils area, Bear maintained a post office from 1892 to 1966.
New Plymouth, in Payette County, was established in 1895 and has maintained a post office since 1896.
Harrison, Kootenai County, was incorporated in 1899 but maintained a post office beginning in 1891.
