Biographical Note

Laura Wood Eastman, her partents Thomas E. and Jennie, and her sister Clare Wood Gerhart were part of a travel group that came to Idaho Falls by wagon in the fall of 1891. Laura's father Thomas E. Wood was later elected to the Idaho Senate to represent Clark County, serving from 1923 to 1926.
