Biographical Note

Faith Turner, daughter of an Iowa newspaperman, A.S. Bailey, was born in Iowa in 1888. She attended Tabor College in Iowa and came to Idaho to teach school and write. She married Earl W. Turner in 1915 and they moved to Boise. As a free lance journalist she wrote for the Deseret News, Idaho Pioneer Statewide, Garden City Gazette and Idaho Statesman. She was the author or editor of several publications including The Golden Dream and Silhouettes of Boise. Ms. Turner founded the Idaho Writers' League and was an active member of the Columbian Club and the PTA.
