The recollections include the following teachers include: Helen Dimico, Jessie Schmidt, Hyrtha Miller, Clyde Miller, Ida Mitchell, Ethel Kammerzell, Elizabeth Curtis, Ruth Daman, Bessie Storms, Alice Holladay, Louise Johnson, and Herbert Wunderlich. Each contributor includes a short biography and memories of their teaching experiences, 1922-1972, in the following Idaho schools: Andrew Springs, Avery, Banner, Coeur d'Alene, Indian Springs, Meridian, Minneloosa, New Meadows, Plummer, Potlatch, Red Rock, St. Maries, and Tensed. Some of the teachers also taught at schools in Alabama, Mississippi, Nevada and Washington, and one later pursued a career in higher education.
