General Note
William "Bill" Wheeler began writing as a reporter in Boise in the late 1930s. He was a graduate of Boise High School. Wheeler was a photographer, editor, and belonged to many civic organization. He and his wife, Toba, were involved in Boise Music Week for many years and often acted as host and hostess for visiting performers touring Boise. In the 1980s, the Wheelers moved to California where Bill soon passed away. Mrs. Wheeler still resides in Irvine, California.
