General Note
W. Lloyd Adams (1885-1969) was born in Utah and moved to Idaho in 1906. He established a newspaper empire owning and operating papers in Rexburg and adjoining communities. He served one term in the Idaho Legislature and was instrumental in the creation of Madison County. Adams became an attorney in 1933 and opened a law office in Rexburg. He was an influential political figure in the Republican party.
