Robert Miles Vasser collection

Edith and Harold Vassar were living at the Big Creek Ranger Station in 1932 when their son, Robert Miles Vassar, was born at the Werdenhoff Mine. Harold was a ranger with the United States Forest Service at Big Creek. The family lived at Big Creek and later moved to Riggins, then McCall, Idaho where Harold became a chief ranger for the Forest Service.

The collection contains photocopies of two manuscripts documenting U.S. Forest Service activities that mention Harold "Slim" Vassar and three photograph albums belonging to the Vassar family.
