Summary
Collection consists of four envelopes (three addressed to Frank B. Flora and one to Mr. and Mrs. S.B. Flora from F.B. Flora); one certificate from the First Reserve Hospital, Eighth Army Corps, indicating that Pvt. Frank Flora had returned to duty effective 20 Feb. 20, 1899; one copy of a poem"The Battle of Manila;" a biographical sketch (2 leaves) of Frank B. Flora, written by his nephew, Thomas Read; and a small (7 x 14 cm.) 'memorandum' book containing names and addresses and other miscellaneous information.

General Note
Frank B. Flora was born 11 January 1869 near Perrysville, Ohio, and died 15 April 1929 in Los Angeles, California. At the outbreak of the Spanish-American War, he enclisted in Co. "B" First Idaho Volunteers at Sandpoint, Idaho and served for the duration of the war.
