General Note
A.M. Johnson was born in Oberlin Ohio on May 31, 1872 and died in Los Angeles, California on January 9, 1948. His father, A. H. Johnson, owned the Arkansas Midland Railroad Company and A. M. Johnson traveled for him checking on the stations. After his father was killed in a railroad accident in Colorado, A. H. Johnson took over the company, which he sold to the Missouri-Pacific.
