Kim (Carlson) Wong papers
Summary
Collectively, all material available briefly time lines a summary of Kim (Carlson) Wong and her inspirational life of creativity and courageousness. Three large photo albums, partly scrap books, provide imagery and childhood perspective from Kim Wong’s point of view including her close family and friend’s. Further, a bulk collection of newspaper clippings, kept in box files, carefully documents her introduction from a Korean Orphanage, a position that was subject to change radically, as a North American adoption transitions her to an embracing family residential to Pocatello, ID. Lastly, displayed through the collection of clippings is Kim’s development as a children’s book author, a noted moment of significance.
