The collection contains 7 boxes from two donations from the Association of Idaho Cities. There are six series in the collection and include audiovisual materials and electronic records. The bulk of the collection consists of publications (newsletters, reports, and training materials).

Biographical / Historical
This collection consists of the organizational records and publications of the Association of Idaho Cities (AIC). AIC was formed in 1947 and is a nonpartisan, nonprofit corporation that serves Idaho’s approximate 200 cities. AIC advocates on behalf of cities and provides education, training, and assistance to strengthen the ability of city elected officials and staff to serve their communities. The mission of AIC is to promote excellence in and advocate for city governance, community leadership, and services to citizens to strengthen Idaho cities. Over the years, AIC has provided manuals and training, events throughout the year (annual conference, institutes, summits, and workshops), regular publications, and serve as the voice for cities before the Idaho Legislature, Idaho Governor and executive branch agencies, and Congress.
