Biographical / Historical

Mary Pease Lashbrook (1896-1979) was born in Missouri. Her family moved to Spokane when she was seven years old, and she relocated to northern Idaho in 1927 when she married her husband, Charles. Mary became interested in writing while listening to her husband’s childhood stories. She became a published writer, selling articles to the Spokesman Review, Statewide, True West, and Frontier Times, among other publications.
