Isaac Newton Coston (1832-1910) was a member of the Idaho constitutional convention, a territorial legislator, and a trustee on the board of the Idaho State Insane Asylum in Blackfoot. He married Weltha Maynard (1837-1867), and had one daughter with her, Mary Ida Coston Bellus (1867-1941). He later married Mary Sophia Drake (1849-1925) in 1872, and they had four daughters, Helen Coston (1873-1957), Anna Coston Churchill (1875-1948), Alta Coston (1880-1959), Olive Coston Garland (1882-1964). The family lived on Warm Springs Avenue for much of their time in Idaho. Isaac Coston's original cabin he built in 1862 was preserved and moved to Julia Davis Park, where it still stands.
