Interviews were conducted in Idaho Falls, Idaho, West Mifflin, PA, and Schenectady, NY by the Center for the Environmental Management of Military Lands of Colorado State University, under contract with Fluor Marine Propulsion, LLC., which manages and operates NRF on behalf of the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program.
These oral histories are part of historic preservation activities to mitigate the adverse effect of the demolition of NRF's prototypes in accordance with a Programmatic Agreement between the NRLFO and Idaho's State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO).
