Writing on back of postcard: "Dear Dad, This was taken on our 200 mi. hike was just as black and dirty as I look in picture. The hike didn't take me down much I weigh 20 lbs more than I did at X-mas time. I understand business I wish to - I was helping you, especially at the table. Ha! Love to Mother and Sis. Will write soon."
