This collection represents approximately 5000 photographs, paintings, drawings, and prints recorded in the Idaho State Historical Society Photograph Accession Ledger. The materials in this ledger span a wide range of topics, and includes many portraits and images of natural scenery, early towns and cities, and mining and logging operations in Idaho and the surrounding area. Materials represent donations to the Idaho State Historical society between 1907 and 1960.

Biographical / Historical

Schwartz and sons came to Idaho in 1860, were given commission in 1885 to represent Idaho at the Fur Bearing Department at the 2nd World's Fair in New Orleans.
