This collection represents approximately 5000 photographs, paintings, drawings, and prints recorded in the Idaho State Historical Society Photograph Accession Ledger. The materials in this ledger span a wide range of topics, and includes many portraits and images of natural scenery, early towns and cities, and mining and logging operations in Idaho and the surrounding area. Materials represent donations to the Idaho State Historical society between 1907 and 1960.

Biographical / Historical

Hattie Marston Leedy, born on September 15, 1865 in Caldwell. Lived in Boise for 40 years. died January 6, 1952 in Weister. Millinger by trade, baptized and confirmed by Bishop Tuttle. Parents were Albert Jefferson and Hanna Hamilton Martson who crossed the pains with an ox-drawn covered wagon from Reedsburg, Wisconsin in 1864. Albert was a buggy maker, and served as a veterinarian.
