This collection represents approximately 5000 photographs, paintings, drawings, and prints recorded in the Idaho State Historical Society Photograph Accession Ledger. The materials in this ledger span a wide range of topics, and includes many portraits and images of natural scenery, early towns and cities, and mining and logging operations in Idaho and the surrounding area. Materials represent donations to the Idaho State Historical society between 1907 and 1960.

Born June 1806 or March 1807. Fought in Nez Perce War, imprisoned with Chief Joseph, died in 1878 or 1879 age 72. Photograph taken in Montana in 1866 or 67
