George Strickler photograph collection
Scope and Contents
This collection contains 940 photographic prints and 169 photographic negatives taken by George H. Strickler of Boise, Idaho. Strickler was a sharpshooter and motorcycle mechanic at Morler's motorcycle shop. Subjects in this collection include motorcycle and car racing events, Boise street scenes, and images captured during Strickler's many motorcycle trips into the Idaho wilderness. An item-level inventory for this collection has not been created. Photographs have been rehoused from original envelopes and a series-level order was imposed based on the subject of the images.
