Content Description

This black and white photographic shows a man wearing a hat with his hands in his pockets. He is standing next to a shack built out of dimensional lumber of various sizes and lengths. A small stovepipe can be seen extending from the ceiling. A dog (possibly a border collie) is lying on the ground near the shack. Other items nearby include an outdoor stove, a black kettle, and a bucksaw. A railroad bridge across the Snake River can be seen in the background on the right. Writing on back of photograph reads "A hut of a hermit near Weiser, Idaho."
