Content Description
This collection contains 8 black and white images that belonged to Lt. Louis Smith, from his time in the CCCs (Civilian Conservation Corps) in Idaho (c. 1934). Camp Ten Mile was located in Golden, Idaho near Grangeville. Golden was an old mining camp near the Clearwater River, Ten Mile Creek ran into it.
Notes added to back of photographs by Smith's nephew, M.B. Steppe, dated February 1981.
