Biographical / Historical

Henry Clay Branstetter came to Idaho in 1863, and married Mary Thews in 1872. Together, they had several children. Henry Thomas Branstetter (1873), Charlotte Blanche Branstetter Newton (1874-1913), Alice Belle Branstetter Yeomans (1879-1961), Winifred Branstetter Schmitter (1885-1955), and Mary Innes "Dolly" Branstetter Briggs (1891-1977). The Branstetter house was on 6th and Jefferson in Boise, and the Yeomans apartments were built behind the house ca. 1900.
