Biographical / Historical

Richard Barnecut (1847-1916) was married to Mary Jane Keast Barnecut (1846-1905) and they had six children. Noah George Barnecut (1865-1944), Charlotte Grace Barnecut Allen (1873-1944), Bessie Elizabeth Barnecut Cooley (1878-1951), Mary Susan Barnecut Coleman (1879-1945), Lucy Keast Barnecut (1880-1890), Carlton Thomas Barnecut (1883-1887), and Lillian M. Barnecut Aughe (1886-1958). Bessie Cooley married Edison David Cooley in 1899, and they had at least three children together. Oscar E. Cooley (1905-1975), Donald A. Cooley (1907-1960), and Edison D. Cooley Jr. (1919-1975).
