Photograph Accession Ledger
This collection represents approximately 5000 photographs, paintings, drawings, and prints recorded in the Idaho State Historical Society Photograph Accession Ledger. The materials described in this ledger span a wide range of topics, and includes many portraits and images of natural scenery, early towns and cities, and mining and logging operations in Idaho and the surrounding area. Materials represent donations to the Idaho State Historical society between 1907 and 1960.

One damaged black and white photograph and negative of Burke, Idaho. Burke was established in 1887 as a mining town for silver, lead, and zinc. The Hecla, Star, and Hercules Silver mines operated out of Burke. The last mine in Burke closed in 1991.
