The Clearwater-Snake Lewis and Clark Bicentennial Committee was organized in 1997 to commemorate the Lewis and Clark expedition of 1803-1806. These records consist of correspondence, financial records, minutes, organizational records, reports, publications, photographs and miscellany. Also included is material from the Lewis and Clark Planning Conference, Great Falls, Montana, 2003.

Scope and Contents This collection contains research materials collected by Zoa Swayne and used as sources for her writings. Materials include correspondence, interviews, clippings, manuscripts, and copies of published books and articles. Also included are slides, photographs, maps and drawings. The collection includes tapes of interviews with Nez Perce Tribal members and others relating local history.
