Forests and forestry

This collection contains thirteen black and white photographic prints from the State of Idaho Department of Forestry. Images include those of logging operations, Department of Forestry employees, Idaho governors, and the Jordan Tree, at one point Idaho's largest tree.

This collection of 339 black and white photographs documents forestry activities in the Payette and Boise national forests ca. 1911-1914. Included are photos of planting, site studies, grazing, homesteads, ranger stations, lookouts and log buildings.
