Scope and Contents The papers of Daniel W. Applegate were donated to the Idaho State Historical Society by his daughter, Susan Applegate, in November 2003. Dylan McDonald processed the collection in November 2003.Spanning from 1929 to 1995, the bulk of the Applegate collection runs between 1934 and 1959. Content Description

This collection contains approximately 840 photographic prints relating to the family of Franklin R. Coffin. Prints are glued to pages across five albums and include black and white images and cyanotypes. Primary subjects include buildings and streets of Boise, Idaho, friends and family members of the Coffin family, trips to California and Yellowstone National Park, and the Boise Barracks.
