Railroads

A collection of 65 negatives and prints of Idaho views. Includes: Steamboats, bridges, St. Maries, St. Joe river, Bitterroot mountains, Coeur d'Alene, mines, Burke, stage stations, Wardner, Potlach, railroads, and sheep.

14 postcards of various Boise scenes, including construction of a dam, camping, and Saint Luke's Children Hospital. All are unidentified. Also includes 80 negatives of Canada scenes including Hudson's Bay Company, railroads, and Treaty Day. All are unidentified.

Collection includes 23 black and white 35 mm negatives and 8 black and white photographic prints made from those negatives. Photographs depict a train ride from St. Maries, Idaho, to Missoula, Montana on the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad (also known as the Milwaukee Road). This collection contains 19 black and white copy photographic negatives and 2 black and white copy photographic prints of scenes and people related to North Idaho. Several early views of Kamiah, Idaho are included, as well as railroads and ferries along the Clearwater River.

Images of railroading and logging in Idaho City, Cascade, and Payette River. 46 prints on 25 pages. Includes home on 3401 Rose Hill, portrait of E.C MacGregor, Union Pacific trains, Idaho City in 1932, construction of the Cabarton bridge over Payette River, Round Valley in 1924 and Cascade in 1917.
