Scrapbook contents that include articles, photos, correspondence, and other items related to Jack Richard Sessions and his military service during World War II.

This collection contains five black and white photographic prints. Most of the images are of Medal of Honor recipients from the state of Idaho, but the collection also includes an aerial photograph of Mountain Home Air Force Base.

This black and white copy photographic print is a portrait of Brigadier General William Carey Brown in uniform. Writing on the back of the image details the history of the image and a brief biography of Brown.

This collection contains two black and white photographic prints. Images are portraits of an unidentified man. In one portrait, the man is wearing a military uniform. The pin on the man's hat indicates he is part of Company E.

This collection contains 13 black and white photographic prints of enlisted servicemen from 1899 to 1942, including members of the Idaho 1st Regiment who fought in the Spanish-American War.

This black and white photographic print shows thee former prisoners of war after their release in 1945. These three men, Ralph "Chalky" Schwenke, Clint Haakonstad, and Leo Keach, were captured by the Japanese military at the Battle of Wake Island.

One 11x13 print of Spanish American War soldiers from the First Idaho Volunteers Company B. Members are identified on the back of the image. Seven carte de visite prints of Spanish American soldiers, including John O'Derr, John Little (Lewiston, Idaho), James Weston (Coeur d'Alene, Idaho), and C.W. Alkire (Coeur d'Alene, Idaho).

Photograph albums of Leo G. Thompson. Thompson was an engineer for the Idaho State Highway Department and was Ada County Engineer when the W.P.A. built the Bureau of Reclamation building on Fairview near the old fairgrounds. Thompson died in 1963. The album contains pictures of army life, construction and logging. Pictures are mainly along the north and south highway.
