Content Description This collection contains 177 black and white photographic prints and six glass plate negatives. Most of the images in this collection are part of a 95-page album assembled by Caldwell resident Maude Raye Burris around 1915. Images in this album show members of the Burris family, their house near Caldwell, Idaho, shots from the 1916 Boise Intermountain Fair, and Canyon County landmarks. This collection consists of 58 black and white photoprints (3 1/2 in. x 3 1/2 in.) and 58 35-mm negatives. The images are of Boise, Idaho buildings; the identification of each, provided by Mr. Fitzwater, includes some history of the structure. Many of the buildings were demolished a short time after these photographs were taken by Fitzwater.
