This collection consists of the work of two Idaho photographers, George E. Tonkin and William Bach. The collection was given to the historical society by Mr. Bach.

Collection of glass plates donated by the Long family. Mostly early Boise scenes, farm scenes, and portraits.
Neff Family Collection
36 8mm film reels of Randy Neff’s family, no sound. Glen Johnson, Randy’s stepfather is the primary videographer. Films include Glen’s friends and their wilderness trips in Eastern Idaho near Shelley, Idaho and Island Park.
Images of the Teton Dam Disaster were removed and added to P2020-07.
Roger B. McGinnis collection of "back to school" photographs
This collection contains 16 black and white photographic prints related to "back to school" events in Boise, Idaho. Four images show a "Welcome Teachers" picnic at Julia Davis Park organized by the Boise Chamber of Commerce Education Committee. The remaining 12 images show children in a "Back to School" parade through downtown Boise, Idaho.
