Moses Alexander papers (1876-1987)
Summary
This collection provides information about Alexander's two terms as mayor of Boise, his family and his business. Five mayoral and gubernatorial scrapbooks contain letters, proceedings and newspaper clippings. Family materials include tax and estate records, correspondence and certificates. The collection also includes fiscal and tax records of the various stores in the Alexander's chain and blueprints for commercial buildings.
For Moses Alexander's gubernatorial papers, see: AR 2/11. The five scrapbooks have been microfilmed and the microfilm should be used in lieu of the original materials which are in fragile condition. See: MF 537.
