Biographical Note

Charles Koelsch was born May 21, 1872 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He studied law at Valpariaso University, Indiana. He was admitted to the Idaho Bar in 1897 and elected as a Probate Judge in 1898. He served as Ada County prosecuting attorney from 1904 to 1908. Served on the Idaho legislature during the 13th (1915) and 15th (1919) sessions. He was appaointed to the 3rd Judicial District in 1929. Koelsch retired January 1, 1951 and died April 23, 1965.
