Biographical Note

Jessica Taylor was born in Victor, Idaho, in 1905. A daughter of John and Matilda Ferguson, she was educated in Gooding, Idaho. She received a teachers certificate from the Idaho Technical Institute in Pocatello, Idaho and taught school in rural areas for 14 years.

In 1928 Jessica Ferguson married Leonard W. Anderson and they lived on a cattle ranch near Hill City, Idaho. Mr. Anderson served in the state legislature for six years. He died in 1953.

Jessica Anderson moved to Boise and was engaged in the real estate business with the firm of Clint, Cooper and Graham for 17 years. She was a member of the Eastern Star and the Woman's Council of Realtors. In 1975 she married Earl D. Taylor, a Boise businessman.
