Historical Note
The Southern Idaho Romance Writers of America (SIRWA) is a non-profit organization formed in 1986. It is a chapter of Romance Writers of America, an international organization formed in 1980 and based in Houston, Texas. SIRWA provides a strong support group, writing seminars, retreats, a newsletter or news bulletin, market information, library of audio tapes, critique groups, and a viable network to help both aspiring and established writers realize their publishing goals. Most of SIRWA's members write mainly romance and women's fiction.
