Historical Note
Starkey Hot Springs was located near Council in Adams County, Idaho. "The present improvements consist of a small hotel, several cabins, dance hall, electric light and power plant where the power is generated by a turbine wheel from the fall of the hot water, cement dam where hot springs water is diverted to the power plant, cement plunge and bathing pool, forty feet wide and eighty feet long and up to fourteen feet in depth with dressing rooms to accomodate."
