Summary

Collection consists of a typewritten letter, dated 15 November 1965, from Homer David to Elmer E. Nelson of the Idaho First National Bank, Moscow. The letter was written on the occasion of the construction of a new bank building in Moscow and details the history of the banking industry in Moscow and also some early history of the town.

Homer David, 1881-1971, was a resident of Moscow, Idaho from 1890 until 1971. He was a co-owner of David's Department Store and a graduate of the University of Idaho. He is also author of "Some Recollections of Homer David, 1890-1910."
