Summary

This collection consists of a carbon copy of "From Angell Genealogy" (5 leaves, n.d.); photocopy of a letter (1 leaf, 1959) from R. D. Drysdale to his daughter, Roxey Drysdale, describing his memories of Emma Drake (his grandmother); a typescript entitled, "In Memoriam" (16 leaves, 1932), an autobiography prepared by Emma Angell Drake; and a letter (1 leaf, 2004) from the donor to Troy Reeves of the Idaho State Historical with an explanation of the documents in the collection.

General Note

Dr. Emma Angell Drake was the author of several books of medical advice for women. She was also an organizer for the Women's Christian Temperance Union (WCTU) and served one term in the Idaho House of Representatives (1919-1920.)
