Biographical Note

Mr. Underwood was born in Racine, Wisconsin in 1897 and moved to Boise with his family in 1906. He served in the Idaho Second Infantry on the Mexican Border and was discharged from the National Guard in 1919. At that time he returned to Boise and subsequently lived in Portland, OR, Chicago, IL, and finally San Antonio, TX.
