The bulk of this collection documents the relocation and demolition of homes and business in American Falls, Idaho to facilitate the construction of the American Falls Dam, which inundated the original town site in 1927. This collection contains 25 black and white photographic prints and 22 black and white photographic negatives of people, residences, and activities in the area of Horseshoe Bend, Idaho. Several families are pictured, including the Gunderson and Mann families. Locations include Quartzburg, Horseshoe Bend, and Porter Creek.
