Bonman family photographs of last day of legal slot machines in Idaho
This collection contains two black and white copy photographic prints taken on the last day of legal slots machines in Idaho, December 24, 1953. One image shows customers leaving a building, presumably after being escorted away from slot machines. The other image shows a man locking the door to the building. No slot machines appear in wither of the images. All photographs taken by Adolph "Al" Bonman of the Idaho Statesman.
Bonman Letters
This collection consists of a series of letters written by Private John Robert "Jack" Bonman (1925-2012) to his parents, Edith and Adolph, and sister, Gay, during his deployment in World War II (1944-1946). It also includes a typed reminiscence titled "The Reluctant Warrior" written by Bonman much later in his life.

Collection consists of a small broadside containing a poem written by James Henry Hart in honor of former Idaho Governor Frank Steunenberg who was slain December 30, 1905. Hart (1825-1906) was born in England and settled in Paris, Idaho in 1864.
