Postcards

Negatives taken for the purpose of producing photographic postcards of Idaho views. Photographs were taken between 1945 and 1960 by photographers like J. Boyd Ellis of the Ellis Post Card Co., Perkins, Collins and Christian. Images span from Lewiston Hill, Thousand Springs, Nampa, Pierce, Orofino and various dams throughout Idaho.

Mounted photographs of a mine in Mullan, Idaho and postcards of Mullan, Idaho including Hunter Mill, Morning Mill, and street views. Other postcards include Bunker Hill and Sullivan Mill from April 28, 1899, and views of Wallace, Idaho.

Collection contains Valentine cards from Boise, Idaho. One has a small fanfold of pictures of Boise structures and scenes. Cards were sent from Orville Miller.

Postcards of Weiser pioneer, Russell Newman and Ike Kiser of Weiser. The collection also includes a photographic print of the Oregon Trail memorial bridge in Boise from 1931 and a mounted reproduction drawing from W.H. Jackson of Old Fort Hall.
