This collection contains 104 black and white photographic prints relating to Robert E. Smylie's service as Governor of Idaho. Images are of Smylie at various campaign events, speaking engagements, and dedication ceremonies. This collection also includes several images of Richard M. Nixon at campaign stops in Idaho.

This collection contains 191 photographic negatives and 307 photographic prints for a total of 316 unique images. 39 of the images are in color, the remainder are in black and white. Most of the photographs were captured by mail carrier and amateur photographer Albert F. Brown of Boise, Idaho. Subjects include street views of Boise, construction projects, fairs, and rodeos. This collection also contains images of Brown's family and portraits of Brown himself.

Photos .1-.13 and .18-.19 were taken by Dr. Guy Atley who lived in St. Anthony, Idaho. He died in 1918. Photographs include Ashton, Marysville, Saint Anthony and various other unidentified locations. Photos .14-.17 were taken later, by an unknown photographer. Donated by Paul Gifford
